Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is an actress, television presenter, recording artist and entrepreneur. The award-winning actress has received numerous accolades during her career. Additionally, she was recognized twice in the Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis has appeared in a variety of television shows including Hiram Campanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2009) Green Rose (2009) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). Mars Ravelos Dyesebel was her first appearance as the Komiks famous character Dyesebel. she also hosted the Showtime noontime show (2009-2010) Anne Curtis is a Filipina Australian actress, model and television host. The award-winning actress has won numerous awards in her professional career. These include two FAMAS Awards a Luna Award two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards and five PMPC Star Awards for Television. She has been nominated in addition for eight PMPC Star Awards, two Gawad Urian Awards, and also for an award at the Gawad Urian Award. Curtis starred in a number of shows on television, such as Hiram (2004 through 2005), Maging Sino Dyosa (2005), Green Rose (2011), Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003) and Kampanerang Kuba (2005). She portrayed in 2014 the iconic Komiks role of Dyesebel in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. She was also the host of It's showtime, a noontime variety program (2009-2020). Curtis is a native of Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia her parents were Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis Smith, an Australian lawyer. The father of her mother was married to Ojales by 1982. Her younger sister, who is also an actor was her father. Their father was an older half-sister known as Clare died in 2007 at age four months due to cardiovascular disease.
